ICSNN Conference 2006
The 14th International Conference on Superlattices, Nano-Structures and Nano-Devices is to be held from July 30th to August 4th 2006, at the Istanbul Convention & Exhibition Centre (ICEC).
Scope:
The conference will be devoted to new phenomena in the physics and technology of superlattices, nanostructures and nanoscale devices.:
* Nanostructure fabrication techniques including lithographic techniques, self-assembled and self organized systems. Chemistry of nanoscale systems, isotropic nanostructures, nanowires and nanocrystals
* Novel experimental and theoretical techniques, novel probing techniques with emphasis on single object analysis
* Quantum confinement
* Nanospintronics in semiconductor devices and spin manipulation in nanostructures. Magnetic/semiconductor hybrid nano-systems
* Nanoelectronics-single electronics, new transport phenomena in nanostructures, and carbon nanotubes
* Terahertz physics and devices
* Nanophotonics and quantum optics with single quantum dots, photonic band gap materials and microcavities
* Entangled states and solid state implementation of quantum information processing
* Emerging materials and devices: nanoelectronics in bio-systems, hybrid organic semiconductor systems, molecular systems and devices
* Electronic and optical properties of dilute nitrides, indium-rich GaInN
