The objective will be to develop a THz QCL operating at multiple user-defined frequencies based on Focused Ion Beam-etching aperiodic lattices.
The objective of this project is to apply computer-generated aperiodic lattice concept to a terahertz (THz) quantum cascade laser (QCL) and thereby to enable tunability.
ARP uses dendrimer based terahertz generation technique via difference frequency method. Up to 30 THz can be generated with an average power of ~ 3-4 mW.
